Salesforce Technical Lead

About the role

Abstra, a nearshore tech talent services company, is hiring a Salesforce Technical Lead for a 100% remote LATAM position, with working hours based on US Central Time. The Tech Lead writes performant, layered and secure code following Salesforce best practices in complex, high data-volume environments, and acts as a force multiplier by mentoring other developers through code reviews, side-by-side work and helping them grow.

Key responsibilities

• Write front-end and back-end code including Lightning components, web components, Visualforce, batches, queueables, triggers and integrations
• Apply Object-Oriented code and enterprise software design patterns such as factories, unit of work, separation of concerns, façade and decorator
• Use LWC communication models and the Shadow DOM, and leverage low-code solutions such as Flow
• Ensure junior developers succeed and improve through interaction
• Apply defensive programming and test-driven development with test coverage
• Work on complex functional capabilities such as Salesforce security and approval processes

Required profile

• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of Salesforce experience and 10+ years in technical development, including architecting and coding
• Salesforce certifications; Platform Developer I and II, and domain certifications such as Integration Designer or Data Designer, are a plus
• Experience with a modern software development lifecycle (git, ANT, scripting, code repositories) and Agile methods such as Scrum
• Excellent written and verbal business communication
