Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS + Android)

About the role

A U.S.-based leader in digital experience personalization is expanding its platform with native mobile capabilities for iOS and Android, and AccelOne is recruiting a Senior Mobile Engineer. The role is hybrid and highly technical, suited to someone who owns end-to-end mobile features from architecture to deployment. It sits within a fast-paced, data-driven ecosystem and involves collaboration with Product, Engineering, UX, Data and Professional Services teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java) applications.
• Build performant, modular and well-tested mobile features aligned with product requirements.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs, personalization engines and data workflows.
• Keep UI/UX and platform best practices consistent across iOS and Android.
• Write clean, reusable code focused on scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Data and Engineering teams through the SDLC, break down requirements into technical tasks and take part in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and design discussions.
• Research modern frameworks and libraries, and optimize performance, loading times, memory and battery use.
• Ensure stability across devices, OS versions and screen sizes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• Experience building and publishing apps in the App Store and/or Google Play.
• Experience with distributed teams in Agile environments and strong communication skills with fluent English.

Required skills

• Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android).
• Native mobile architectures and patterns such as MVC, MVVM and Clean Architecture, and SDKs.
• RESTful API integration and mobile networking.
• Debugging and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, testing frameworks and automated pipelines.

Preferred: personalization or large-scale consumer app experience; mobile analytics, deep linking, push notifications and A/B testing; AWS, Firebase or Cloud Functions; Fastlane, Bitrise or GitHub Actions; UX principles and component design.
