Remote Project Manager - LATAM

About the role

Avantpage, a translation provider serving immigrant and LEP communities through language access in health and government services, is looking for a proactive, tech-savvy Project Manager based in Latin America. The role is remote and involves planning, initiating and overseeing projects while acting as the liaison between the client and all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Scope and quote translation and localization projects for identified clients
• Plan and monitor projects to meet deadlines, quality and budget requirements
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients
• Support internal teams and clients, including explaining the localization process
• Work with international production teams to create and maintain client- or project-specific procedures, checklists and instructions
• Keep financial project data, workflows, schedules and processes accurate
• Resolve client and internal issues quickly and take part in client meetings
• Gather basic production data for QBRs and other client reports

Required profile

• Localization experience is required
• At least 3 years of project management experience
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work independently, as part of a team and under supervision

Required skills

• Knowledge of industry tools such as CAT, OCR and TMS
• Customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication with clients and internal teams, attention to detail and strong organization
• Ability to give clear direction to a small team
