Senior Vice President (SVP) Finance – Insurance & Investments

About the role

The Senior Vice President (SVP) Finance will act as a strategic partner to the Group CFO, CEO and Board, steering financial discipline, profitability and capital efficiency across the Group’s insurance, investment and asset‑management businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management for the Group and its business units.
• Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, analysis and executive reporting.
• Drive FP&A and commercial finance, turning data into strategic decisions.
• Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, cash flow and return on capital across the portfolio.
• Provide financial leadership for insurance operations, including premium income, claims, reserves and underwriting performance.
• Supervise investment and asset‑management finance, covering portfolio reporting, valuation and performance analysis.
• Support capital planning, solvency, liquidity, balance‑sheet optimisation and capital allocation.
• Lead treasury planning, liquidity management and cash flow monitoring.
• Strengthen governance, internal controls, policies and risk‑management frameworks.
• Ensure timely statutory, regulatory and management reporting.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Actuarial, Investment, Treasury, Audit and Legal on financial matters.
• Provide due diligence, modelling and valuation for M&A, joint ventures and acquisitions.
• Identify cost‑optimisation and operational‑efficiency opportunities.
• Lead finance transformation, automation, ERP implementation and analytics initiatives.
• Develop relationships with auditors, regulators, investors and lenders.
• Coach senior finance professionals and build a high‑performing finance organisation.
