Beach & Sports Attendant

About the role

The Beach & Sports Attendant ensures guests enjoy safe, memorable beach and water‑sport experiences on Jumby Bay Island, a luxury resort in the Caribbean. You will be the primary point of contact for all beach‑related activities, providing guidance, equipment, and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with beach and water‑sport activities, including snorkeling, tubing, waterskiing and wakeboarding.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the beach, swimming pools, equipment, facilities and boats.
• Inspect and prepare water‑sport gear, ensuring it meets safety standards.
• Provide clear instructions and support to guests of all ages and skill levels.
• Coordinate with other resort departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Valid Antigua & Barbuda driver’s licence and Boat Master’s licence.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and handle flexible hours.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and move equipment safely.

Required skills

• Proficiency in instructing snorkeling, tubing, waterskiing and wakeboarding.
