General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the property. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to deliver outstanding guest experiences while achieving financial and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the operation.
• Drive operational excellence across all departments.
• Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction and service delivery.
• Lead, develop, and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
• Monitor and improve key operational, commercial, and guest experience metrics.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to optimise performance, efficiency, and profitability while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in the hospitality or tourism industry (e.g., General Manager, Hotel Manager, Operations Director).
• Demonstrated success leading large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, commercial strategy, revenue management, and financial performance.
• Experience managing budgets, P&L, and business performance indicators.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strategic thinker with a results‑driven approach and commitment to service excellence.
• Fluent English; previous Caribbean hospitality market experience is a strong advantage.
