Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures that all assigned areas of Jumby Bay Island’s luxury resort are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and order, reflecting the brand’s LQA and Forbes service expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain assigned guest rooms and public areas in a clean, orderly manner.
• Adhere to company, LQA and Forbes service standards for housekeeping.
• Transport linens, supplies and equipment safely throughout the property.
• Operate company vehicles as required, holding a valid Antigua & Barbuda driver’s licence.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar housekeeping role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle flexible working hours.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and perform regular lifting and movement tasks.
• Valid Antigua & Barbuda driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Knowcross housekeeping management system (asset).
