Sr. Accountant – Accounts Receivable

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Accounts Receivable will join the Finance team at Jumby Bay Island, part of Oetker Hotels. This role ensures accurate and timely financial accounting with a primary focus on accounts receivable, billing, collections, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate receivables records and support billing processes.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries related to accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Resolve billing and accounting discrepancies.
• Support month‑end close and ensure strong financial controls.
• Collaborate with homeowners, guests, operational departments, banks, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure financial records are complete, reliable, audit‑ready, and aligned with company reporting standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, and month‑end close.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to work closely with diverse internal and external partners.
• Attention to detail and commitment to audit‑ready financial reporting.
