Assistant Retail Lead

About the role

Digicel is looking for an Assistant Retail Lead to drive store performance in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, controlling costs, and delivering exceptional customer service while coaching and guiding the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for prepaid and postpaid connections.
• Produce weekly and monthly sales reports for management.
• Promote additional services and essential products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Coach the retail team to deliver world‑class customer service and resolve complaints when needed.
• Communicate updates on procedures, product knowledge, and action points to the store team.
• Manage store layout, merchandising, displays, and housekeeping to optimize sales and ensure brand compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all company operating procedures and maintain brand integrity.
• Provide regular feedback on performance against targets and adjust plans as circumstances change.
• Monitor store profitability, control expenditure, and plan future tasks with the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably within telecommunications.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to analyze sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing store operations.
