Restaurant Host – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Restaurant Host ensures seamless dining experiences for guests at Jumby Bay Island, a luxury resort within the Oetker Hotels collection. You will coordinate table plans, manage service flow, and act as the primary point of contact for guest requests, always aiming for the highest level of satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate table layouts and service sequences for each shift.
• Communicate guests’ special requests and dietary needs to the service team.
• Maintain adherence to all food‑and‑beverage standards, policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support service excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar host or front‑of‑house role.
• Experience in a luxury resort or hotel is preferred.
• Valid Antigua & Barbuda driver’s licence and Food Handlers Certificate.
• Ability to work flexible hours and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills at all levels and the capacity to work independently.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SevenRooms reservation system.
• Knowledge of Micros point‑of‑sale platform.
• Experience with KnowCross integration tools.
