Rod Bender

About the role

The Rod Bender fabricates and installs concrete reinforcement elements and associated materials per project scope. The role reports to the Foreman and follows instructions from the Superintendent.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate reinforcement elements according to the Foreman’s instructions.
• Lay out steel bars, mesh, rods, and framework.
• Erect, place, and join steel girders, columns, and other structural components.
• Install prefabricated and in‑situ reinforcement elements as directed.
• Assist with other construction‑related tasks as needed.
• Ensure consistent adherence to company safety standards.
• Keep the jobsite organized and cleaned daily before departure.
• Clean, organize, and secure tools each day.
