Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Group Chief Financial Officer to steer the financial strategy of a diversified Insurance & Investments Group. The Group CFO will be a key member of the executive team, advising the CEO, President and Board on capital allocation, performance and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership and ensure robust financial governance across subsidiaries and joint ventures.
• Oversee the Group’s P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and capital position, driving earnings growth and expense efficiency.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and financial scenario analysis.
• Supervise insurance finance functions, monitoring premiums, claims, reserves and underwriting profitability.
• Oversee investment and asset‑management finance, supporting portfolio decisions and capital allocation.
• Establish Group‑wide financial policies, controls, KPIs and performance dashboards.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in insurance, investment management, asset management or related regulated financial institutions.
• Proven track record of shaping financial strategy, capital management and governance at a group level.
• Strong understanding of insurance underwriting, claims, reserves and investment portfolio finance.
• Ability to influence senior executives and board members.
