Vice President Finance – Insurance & Investments

About the role

The Vice President Finance is a senior finance leadership position responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, performance management, controls, and strategic finance activities across the Group's insurance, investment, and asset‑management operations. The role partners closely with the Group CFO, business‑unit CEOs and investment leaders to drive profitability, capital efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management for insurance and investment business units.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, management accounts and financial analysis.
• Provide FP&A and commercial finance insights to senior management.
• Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, cash flow and return on capital.
• Support insurance finance functions including premium income, claims, reserves and underwriting performance.
• Oversee investment portfolio reporting, valuation and performance analysis.
• Assist Group‑level capital planning, solvency, liquidity and balance‑sheet management.
• Ensure strong financial controls, accounting policies and internal‑control procedures.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and meet regulatory reporting requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling for M&A, strategic investments and new product initiatives.
• Identify cost‑optimization and operational‑efficiency opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and business‑performance analytics.
• Lead finance transformation projects involving ERP, automation and data analytics.
• Support Board presentations, investor reporting and major financial decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop finance managers, controllers and other finance professionals.

Required profile

• 12–18+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience in insurance, investment or asset‑management finance functions.
• Proven ability to partner with CFOs, CEOs and senior stakeholders.
• Strong track record of driving financial discipline, profitability and capital efficiency.
