Stores Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Stores Supervisor to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of food and supply items for our airport and airline catering operations. The role ensures that all products meet quality, temperature, and safety standards while supporting production, terminal, and operations departments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, verify invoices against orders, and inspect product quality, weight, and temperature.
• Check that frozen foods remain frozen, refrigerated items are ≤5 °C (41 °F), and record expiration dates.
• Reject unauthorized substitutions, damaged or out‑of‑temperature goods and arrange their return to vendors.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and report spoilage or adjustments.
• Fill requisitions for Production, Terminal and Operations departments in correct quantities and on schedule.
• Implement FIFO rotation, ensure proper storage temperatures (freezers at –18 °C/0 °F), and keep the storeroom secured.
• Prepare daily reports on stock handling, equipment usage, and inventory movements.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve weight deviations and quality issues promptly.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict food safety and quality procedures.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment, preferably in airport or catering services.
• Good organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, internal teams, and management.
