Senior Architect – Antigua

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design and coordination of complex projects, ensuring high-quality, functional and compliant delivery. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from concept through execution while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design for complex projects from concept to execution.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and design deliverables.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design teams.
• Present design concepts and incorporate client and stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain technical accuracy, design quality, and constructability.
• Stay updated on architectural trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Support health, safety, environment (HSE) and company IMS requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, building codes and regulations.
• Proven leadership, communication, coordination and presentation abilities.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and consultants.
• Preferred knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
