Senior Structural Engineer - Antigua

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of structural and foundation systems for a variety of projects. The role involves delivering safe, cost‑effective solutions while collaborating closely with architectural, MEP and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structural design, analysis, calculations and engineering solutions for diverse projects.
• Design and review steel, concrete, timber and foundation systems.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, calculations and reports.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards and project requirements.
• Optimize designs for safety, cost, performance and constructability.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors and consultants.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve structural issues during construction.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and drafting teams.
• Identify and mitigate structural risks and support HSE/IMS requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in structural engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in structural analysis and design.
• Excellent coordination, communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ETABS.
• Proficiency with SAP2000.
• Proficiency with STAAD.Pro or similar structural analysis software.
