Accounting & Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting & Logistics Supervisor ensures the company’s financial operations run smoothly while overseeing warehouse and inventory processes. This dual‑focus position safeguards assets, guarantees compliance, and drives profitability through accurate reporting and efficient logistics management.

Key responsibilities

• Implement financial policies and prepare all statutory financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns and regulatory filings.
• Compare sales and profit forecasts with actual results, adjust budgets and projections as needed.
• Control income, capital and operating expenditures, analysing costs to identify profitability improvements.
• Maintain full compliance with governance requirements and prepare monthly MIS, quarterly reviews and support annual audits.
• Develop and nurture relationships with banks, auditors, investors and other financial partners.
• Review customer and supplier contracts, ensure accurate billing, and oversee stock receipt and shipment in the warehouse.
• Monitor daily warehouse activities, conduct cycle counts, stock‑takes and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assess compliance risks and implement control mechanisms to mitigate them.

Required profile

• Graduation (bachelor’s degree) in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in accounting and logistics.
• Strong decision‑making ability and people‑management skills.
• Proven capability to multitask, prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP FICO module.
