Food and Equipment Handler

About the role

Join GCG, a leading provider of aviation catering solutions across the Caribbean and Latin America, as a Food and Equipment Handler. You will play a vital part in ensuring airline meals and equipment are prepared, packed, and delivered according to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures (GCG, airline, local and international).
• Pack airline meals according to final counts, adjusting trays as needed.
• Deliver charter items promptly and ensure tray set‑ups and food trolleys are stored per specifications.
• Pack customer equipment according to specifications and load it correctly using loading diagrams.
• Verify that all menu items are loaded according to the final check sheet before kitchen departure.
• Load assembled modules into catering vehicles and ensure aircraft are catered on time.
• Handle dirty equipment appropriately for cleaning.
• Perform any other duties related to the department as directed by the Department Head.
