About the role
The successful candidate will manage all surveying activities, ensure accurate setting out, verify project coordinates and levels, and support the construction team throughout project execution.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all land and construction surveying activities on site.
- Establish and maintain project control points, benchmarks, and survey networks.
- Verify setting out for buildings, infrastructure, roads, and utilities.
- Review survey data and prepare reports, drawings, and as‑built records.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy of works.
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys as required.
- Monitor construction progress and identify deviations from approved plans.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of surveying experience in large‑scale construction projects.
- Experience in hotels, resorts, hospitality, mixed‑use developments, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate to Antigua.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Total Stations.
- Proficiency with GPS/GNSS equipment.
- Proficiency with surveying software.
