Seasonal Sales Associate - Wines, Liquor & Beverages

About the role

Premier Beverages Limited, a supplier of wines, liquor and beverages serving hotels and hospitality clients since 1995, is hiring a seasonal, on-site Sales Associate in St. John's. The role supports day-to-day sales activities, including visiting and servicing customers and walking the docks as directed by the Sales Manager or senior sales staff.

Key responsibilities

• Promote company brands and present product offerings
• Process customer orders and coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for accurate, timely fulfillment
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and monitor stock levels at customer locations
• Assist with merchandising and in-store displays
• Gather market and customer feedback and contribute to sales targets
• Maintain accurate records of calls and visits and uphold professional service standards

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, marketing or hospitality is an asset
• Previous experience in sales, retail or hospitality is beneficial, especially in beverages or FMCG
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the island are beneficial

Required skills

• Sales and customer service skills, including relationship building, account servicing and basic negotiation
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening
• Organizational and time-management skills, including route planning, visit scheduling and record keeping
• Basic product and market awareness, with an interest in beverages, hospitality and retail
• Basic proficiency with order-entry or CRM systems and standard office software is an advantage
